Barnstaple retailer Lesley Brown (pictured, right) told hundreds of delegates at the annual FWD 07 conference that the MY Shop Is Your Shop Campaign had halted the decline in sales at her store.

Lesley used ideas created by the campaign to increase her involvement with the local community and thus increase footfall.

Lesley has used the campaign to increase the local profile of the shop she owns with her husband William. Since MSYS arrived to help her she has become a local councillor and is now a member of the PRAG committee which steers the campaign.
